If you have been following the story, you will know that the House of Mercy community, by consensus, approved a constitution last Spring as part of our process of becoming a full on congregation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Since we last talked that constitution as been to the Head Office for Constitutions and come back to us with suggestions of a few tweaks. The House of Mercy Constitution Team has done the tweaking. with some much needed help from constitution specialists, and all around nice guys from some other Saint Paul churches–now it is ready once again for our community to approve. This is the final step, so step to–or step lightly.
