Christopher Becknell is a Minneapolis based performer who is no stranger to the local music scene. He can be found performing guitar concerts for the MN Guitar Society as well as fiddling with bands and a variety of local orchestras.
He is not only a performer, however—in addition to serving on the music faculty at MCTC and North Central University, Becknell maintains a large private studio in Minneapolis where he teaches guitar to children and their parents using the Suzuki Method. Over the years Becknell has earned a loyal fan base through these projects, which has led to his first release for House of Mercy Recordings—Just Beyond the River: Songs of Shelter & Mercy for Solo Guitar.
