A fundraising campaign to celebrate our history, meet our present moment, and expand the ways we practice mercy.
In 1996 We threw open our doors and our arms to embrace the possibility of building a church community rooted in the radical mercy of God, a rigorous questioning of Biblical and cultural texts, and a DIY embrace of art, music, and liturgy.
For thirty years House of Mercy has been making community, art, music, writing—we’ve been preaching, praying, studying, deconstructing, asking questions, and trying to love our neighbor.
If you were there at the beginning, been here the whole time, participate semi-erratically, or just happy we are still in the world—we invite you to be a part this monumental campaign to raise $90,000 between now and the end of November.
• $30 thousand will be used to address donations shortfalls
• $30 thousand to create a reserve/stabilization fund
• $30 thousand to expand our community building
