Angel has attended House of Mercy since the very first Sunday. Chris and Russell asked the congregation for musical guest artists. “At the time I was training classically. I didn’t have a background in country gospel and I didn’t know any of the hymns we sang or the bands everyone loved.” Still, Angel decided to give it a shot (though it took a year or more before they agreed to have her sing. It was Dead Can Dance; maybe Emmeleia or Song of Sophia.) Angel has served on the board for several years and is always happy to bring food, custom candles, or a song to House of Mercy events. Angel lives in St. Paul with her husband and brother. She loves to entertain guests, sing, and develop her spiritual healing practice.
