Let the wild rumpus start!
Join us as we explore Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are through shadow, sound and writing that will end in a performance at the end of the week. Students will create puppets, the stage and sets and the soundtrack to the classic story of monsters real and imagined!
Full day students will need to bring a lunch. Lunch will be supervised. All students will be provided with a morning and afternoon snack but should bring a water bottle each day.

Sonja Olson is an artist, writer and educator with over 15 years of experience teaching art and working with children. She has a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas and a BFA in sculpture from the College of Visual Arts. Currently, Sonja is a Montessori teacher at Children’s Center Montessori.
