Get to Know the Book Club

Hey, just because you started going to church doesn’t mean you have to go brain dead. You can still read stories, and make them up too.

The House of Mercy Book Group reads a wide array of books – mostly fiction, but we’re open to other genres as well. Our book selections have spanned the decades, from the 1800s to the 21st Century.  We’ve read some classic novels and some contemporary selections that may become classics.  We’re democratic in our selections, and welcome suggestions from the community (even if you’ve never been before, please let us know which book selections would intrigue you enough to attend).

We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 7-8:30, at Marty Tanquist’s home (3246 Black Oak Drive, Eagan; 651-406-8188).

If interested, please sign up at church, or contact Richard Pemberton. His e-mail address is being protected from spam bots (for now). You can reach him at 651-659-9479.  Or just show at Marty’s (though you should always check the website on the day of the book group to confirm the time and place).
