Humbird is Siri Undlin’s solo project featuring original compositions that span the genres of folk music, field recordings, experimental soundscapes and fairytales. She was a 2013 Watson Fellow, a finalist for the 2015 MN Emerging Writers Grant and has been touring with Undlin & Wolfe and other various musical ensembles for the last 3 years. Most recently, Undlin was selected as the 2016 composer-in-residence at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia, Colorado (a position made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts and Mountain Harvest Creative). She is currently based in Minneapolis, MN.
