Musical guest: John Magnuson

In the 90’s (and also in the aughts, kinda), John was in a Minneapolis honky-tonk band called the Carpetbaggers. If you ever saw them play, he was the one in the middle, between the two bespectacled beanpoles. John still plays around town from time to time, sometimes with one of the bespectacled beanpoles. Today at the House of Mercy, however, John will be singing some Gospel songs with Alyssa Whiting and John Wenstrom. (John, Alyssa, and John have been known to perform as a group called Pants on a Chair.)
