On January 22nd, House of Mercy church held an old school-academic-style colloquium.

Members of the community were invited to submit papers addressing the questions: Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ necessarily counter cultural? The 6 papers presented can be found here discordantorthodoxy.blogspot.com
The colloquium is part of House of Mercy's yearlong focus on Discordant Orthodoxy. The Discordant Orthodoxy focus will culminate in a month long theologian-in-residency by noted contemporary British theologian, James Alison.
