House of Mercy Band “Left Behind” Release Show at the Turf Club, Sunday the 28th of January with Mark Thomas Stockert & Molly Maher and Her Disbelievers

On their fifth CD, Left Behind, the Minnesota Music Award   
winning House of Mercy Band journey into a post-Rapture world of hard
times, trouble, and lovely wreckage. Fiddle, mandolin, ringin'-a-bell
guitar playing, passionate singing, and rapturous harmonies make Left
Behind a CD that you'll definitely want to keep near as you stumble drunk
through The Tribulation.


Band Bio:  C. P. Larson started the House of Mercy Band ten years ago to lead the Gospel songs and hymns at the fledgling House of Mercy Church.  The band grew to be an important part of the churches identity and an important part of the old time music scene in the twin cities.  In addition to hosting a monthly live radio show featuring the a roll call of Midwest country, bluegrass, old time and acoustic musician for two years, has been a guest on Garrison Keillor’s Rubarb Show.  The church brought in national acts such as Charlie Louvin and Ralph Stanley as part of its mission to preserve old time country gospel music.  The HoM Band earned its MMA for Best Gospel Music Band and was named Best Live Performance at the Turf Club by City pages
